Day 165: Well hello there! We hope this post finds you well. Things over here are going good, and it's finally starting to warm up which is always nice. We recently took the kids on a field trip to Everland, which is Korea's version of Wonderland, only bigger.

We spent the day walking around the zoo, watching a sea lion show, and going on a variety of spinning rides. Some kids like Stella loved the rides...

But Jennifer just wanted off...
And who knows what Ray was thinking, he is an adorable but very serious 5 year old...

Even mid-ride, he was still totally deadpan ...

Being able to spend the day outside and having fun with the kids was a nice break from teaching. Who wouldn't have fun with these cutie pies? We really do love them.

We'll be back soon with a more in depth update. We have some small weekend trips planned in the next few weeks which we're looking forward to. So until next time, we love you and miss you.

With love from South Korea,
Shayna & Brandon xo

  2. Hi, you had a picture of an echinicea posted on google photo of the day Sept 3. I loved the photo and am a beginning photographer trying to get better. Would you share your lens and settings for that photo? I recently got a 50 mm lens and have been experimenting, but can't get something as beautifully focused as this. Thank you,

  3. Im not sure what photo your referring to, can't seem to find it, but usually i use my 50 1.8 or my zoom lens 75-300. the most important thing i find is to shoot on Apeture priority at the lowest f point the lens allows for. thanks for your comment :)
